Listening to @lucianaberger describe how antisemitism permeated the Labour Party from the very very top to the very very bottom, how she was gaslit, and how very grateful she is to the EHRC for the damning report they released today.
Criticising Jeremy Corbyn's response to the report, which she says is wholly inadequate. Reflecting on her personal experience with Corbyn with @Emmabarnett #BBCR5
Talking about the toll of abuse and threats, of acid attacks, of stabbing and rapes, by Corbyn supporters, on both her and her team.
Now @lucianaberger confirming that, in her opinion, Jeremy Corbyn is antisemitic, on the basis of both her personal interaction, what he has said and written, and what the EHRC report has said. She believes @Keir_Starmer has ruled nothing off the table, including expulsions
Luciana saying that @Keir_Starmer called her last night to extend a personal apology, for the first time since 2018. Saying she will judge Starmer on his actions. Now being asked about Angela Rayner, who denied antisemitism when Luciana left. She called Luciana last night.
Saying that there are now legal as well as moral obligations on @UKLabour - she will wait to judge Angela Rayner on her actions.
Now listening to @lisanandy - will not politically interfere in complaints, but that she expects a complaint against Corbyn which will be investigated without fear or favour. Also that those who believe antisemitism was exaggerated have no place in the Labour party.
Corbyn should reflect on this, but this needs to be the day we move on from talking about Jeremy Corbyn, as Jewish MPs have asked.
@Emmabarnett saying that neither Starmer nor Rayner resigned from the Shadow Cabinet. They sat along aside and supported Corbyn's leadership. How can they be trusted? Nandy saying that all have to take responsibility for standing by, and that it was very difficult.
Nandy not certain Corbyn is antisemitic. Does not want to deny @lucianaberger lived experience, but says she does not know.
And the personal abuse on this thread has started. Thanks.
