There are a few things i rlly like abt slovenia so letsgo

Kurentovanje - so this is like a annual carnival event to “drive away” winter at the start of spring. Kurenti would swing bells and do a lil dance or smtg. the costume is heavy asf

Jurjevanje - its a event specific for a small region in slovenia, it basically celebrates their culture. the green thingy in the middle is called Zeleni Jurij. He’s like this mythical man who kills dragons and snakes lol

PUST - so in slovenia we dont rlly celebrate halloween buuut in spring we have a lil holiday, idk whats it meaning is but depending in what region u r in it can be scary LOOK AT THAT, THERES A VIDEO ON YT OF IT MOVING ITS CREEPY.

So in the time of pust we also eat this. Its not traditional food (at least i dont think so) but yeah

Prekmurska gibanica is so good but it affects ur health a lot so

idk how ppl dont eat potica like i thought everyone had it endn ITS RLLY GOOD

Žlikrofi, sour cabbage, ŠTRUKLJI, theres more foods but i dont like the rest so

k so this is Bled lake, its not this pretty irl but its still amazing. A sign of true and lasting love if u get married in that lil church is carrying ur bride up the 100 stairs to the reception its rlly straight but kinda cute

Slovenia is also v known for this horse breed called Lipicanci. They’re born black then they turn white as they grow . Dont ask me why cuz idk

K so we have a lot of beautiful caves like fr fr, this is škocjan, i was actually in it its a lot bigger irl and there were lil bats

OKAY BUT POSTOJNA IS AMAZING NOT JUST CUZ THE CAVE IS BEAUTIFUL?? BUT CUZ THERES THIS LIL HUMAN FISHY IN IT, ITS SO CUTE. also u can ride in a lil wagon around the cave wjsjsj

We also have like too many castles wnnssnsn the first one is hauNtEd
