As a result of Hurricane Zeta, numerous trees and power lines are down all over Mobile County. Work crews are working to make roads safe and passable.
For Thursday, October 29, county offices in Mobile Government Plaza, the Plaza Annex and the Courthouse will be CLOSED. Employees are to report to work for their normal work schedule on Friday, October 30.
With today, being the last day to apply for absentee ballots for the November 3 General Election, the Mobile County Absentee Voting Office will be open during normal business hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday, October 29.
The Absentee Voting Office is located at 151 Government Street. Questions about in-person absentee voting should be directed to the Absentee Election Manager’s Office at (251) 574-6400.
