I've been actively paying attention to how trans men are treated on twitter for quite a while, and I noticed something significant happen this year
Prior to this year, trans men mostly kept their heads down on social median were afraid to speak out on "yo, being transphobic towards us is not ok!" Because it was met with people just jumping down our throats with accusations of misogyny
As of EXACTLY January 1st, 2020 trans men collectively went
At first just a couple spoke out, then more and more followed, and now we are at the point that being transphobic towards trans men is no longer an applauded act. People are getting shamed for their behavior! Their accounts are getting deleted for harrassment!
Silencing trans men is met with a big "No! Bad! Shame on you!"
While these issues around trans men aren't completely gone, they have heavily lessened.
For example, at the end of last year I saw someone rally her followers to misgender an (admittedly terrible) trans man, and get praised for that behavior, while those who spoke up were called misogynist. I can tell you with certainty that would not fly today.
