Mini-whiteboards thread - a few tips on using them more effectively:

1. Instead of the overwhelming '1,2,3 - all boards up' try a row at a time first so:
1,2,3 back row up, down
1,2,3 middle row up, down
1,2,3 front for up, down
1,2,3 all boards up, down

Much more forensic.

2. Consider the response you are after. Short answer questions are visible from anywhere. Long answers in full sentences,not so much. Chd will also cram or compromise their response to make it fit the board. Want a longer response. Use a different technique like TPS + probing

3. Teach the routine. The use of white boards to check for understanding is useless if chd are pre-empting each other. All boards in a row in unison or don't bother.

4. For the above to work leave appropriate wait time for the question: 3 x 5 needs less than 7 cubed.
