Here’s an interesting problem. Without fail, the #Windows key appears to become “mentally” stuck shortly after my laptop boots up, and shortly after every time I press it to un-stick it. Nothing about the physical key appears stuck (I’ve cleaned in and around it with a spray)
I can’t disable the laptop’s physical keyboard; I can only uninstall its drivers, which I’m loathe to do. But I can see using the on-screen keyboard that the #Windows key is being registered (highlights in blue), without me doing anything. This is periodical, not immediate.
👀 I’m hoping some #Windows guru reading this might have some idea of how to fix this if it is a problem with the computer rather than the physical keyboard, as I think it is? I’ve been reading up on forum posts like this, but not to any success. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-hardware-winpc/windows-key-stuck-down-not-physically/42a9ccd3-5362-4930-98e1-257c5b4ae668
