So today was a little busy at Sheep Ahoy aka Oli's Gang
Firstly poor Jacob got a thorn wedged deep into his head, 2 person job we thought but he actually ate his fresh hay all the way through and was totally unfazed, in fact I'm not even sure he knew we were there

Unlike Peppa and Danny who stayed on operation "I'm not being treated" watch, they stayed in position until we went through the last gate
Then it was onto visit Floss and our new handsome goats.

Then it was onto visit Floss and our new handsome goats.
Floss surprised us by actually having a little run then bravely going further than what we thought checking out the yard, 10 mins later, love her heart she took herself back to her straw bed. Huge improvement already, eating proper food and receiving non stop love and care.

Fresh hay and water given at Sid's then onto knell where we found Elvis looking really uncomfortable and lame on both front legs. I managed to catch a couple of pics from goats field of Julia giving nothing but pure love to Elvis, when they hurt I swear she can feel it.
She simply can't bare to see her babies or any animal in any pain, it hurts her soul

He followed us happily into the pen where Julia found poorly hooves including an absess due to some heavy rain recently

Elvis is so nosey, he cannot miss a thing so has probably spent more time out of the stable than the others as he can't have a nose at people from in there
Elvis was brilliant and trusted Julia completely. Treatment included long acting antibiotic so

for quick recovery.

What warmed my heart was his sheepie family looking on with concern, Adira mostly, how clever and loving they are

On way carrying fresh water to goats Freddie needed to stop me for quality testing of both buckets.

Then Julia invited me to hers for warm soup which I so happily accepted..... I was then told we had to go via Jacobs field again to unload about a thousand bloody bales

crafty Julia, very crafty
I then ran out of time for soup

A day in the life..... With my sheepie babies..... Love them unconditionally
