Best list(s) of must-read (classic, foundational) philosophy books / paper / materials or reccs re oft-overlooked items in same w motivation for suggesting? For a friend
The friend has only smattering of sporadic phil. reading and, fixing to firm that foundation, wants to read the classics & good books by/about philosophers—doesn't want to learn philosophy as such (scoffed at my suggestion to first just read SEP and links and links of links).
