I've been asked a few times recently about resources for queer folk who are coming out later in life - there are more resources available to support young folk (finally!) but its still harder to find help if you're starting on this journey later. Here's what I have so far...
The podcast Lesbian Chronicles: Coming Out Later in Life has episodes with Melisa and Alli @LesbianChronic1 who both came out as gay after ending heterosexual marriages - super interesting and includes an interview with one of their kids too:  https://open.spotify.com/show/72DJhKQMVHlGI17jnksEc6?si=U8lwjqEfRNieenHPk2cqpw
The Graying Rainbows podcast @GrayingR features interviews with many people who've come out later-in-life:  https://grayingrainbows.com/
Queer up your Instagram and Twitter by following hashtags like  #loveislove, #lgbtq, #lesbianweddings  #lesbians #lesbiansofinstagram #lesbiansofinsta #wlw #womenwholovewomen #gayaf #comingoutstories #lgbt #lgbtq #gay #lesbian (also check out who other queer folk are following).
Late to Lesbian is one Instagram account full of pics of (slightly?) older queer couples and discussions about relevant topics  https://www.instagram.com/latetolesbian/
The Netflix's documentary, A Secret Love, follows a lesbian couple (Pat Henschel and Terry Donahue) who didn’t come out to family members until they reached their eighties. It's really lovely: https://www.netflix.com/nz/title/80209024
If you're needing support or counselling (and are in NZ), friends have recommended  @OUTLineAotearoa
  https://outline.org.nz/
I'm still looking for my queer crew because I don't get out much (and making new friends is hard!), but here are some in-person groups I've heard about in NZ...
Plaid Pals NZ - organising regular queer events (with a wide age range) https://www.instagram.com/plaidpalsnz/
Rainbow +27 (aka Late Bloomers) https://www.meetup.com/Rainbow-27-aka-late-bloomers/Auckland

Lesbian Fun Stuff for 30+ https://www.meetup.com/Auckland-Lesbian-Awesome-FUN-stuff-30-Meetup

Auckland Lesbian Business Association (ALBA) - only been to 1 event, the group ranged from around 40 - 80+ https://www.alba.org.nz/
And of course, @autostraddle - OMG best website ever, news, opinion, entertainment, and all the lists my nerdy gay heart can handle https://autostraddle.com/
