So, I notice that @SteveKornacki has been on a lot on MSNBC recently, & I recall the sheer mayhem of election night 2016, & his frantic tapping of his board. I realize it's a minor point, but I'm seriously worrying about Steve's sanity in the coming weeks.

As this election may draw out for days & even weeks, I fear Steve will lose his mind on television & want to see if we can take steps to avert any potential blown gaskets.

I'm not saying we should celebrate or encourage drug use, but we know cable news is gonna live report this election however long it takes & they all rely on Steve every time any number changes.

We've all had to endure an adderall & 'roided president, I'm pretty sure we can handle Steve on a binge (& find it far more informative/entertaining). So, whomever might hook him up, just make sure to get him some premo shit ( @jheil, I'm noting your profile pic)

Second, enough of this running the Big Board solo shit; give the man a copilot. Every Maverick needs his Goose. Rather than have Steve frantically tapping (or smacking, or kicking or head butting, depending on the hour) the Big Board, trying to pull up the relevant data...

In house, I'd suggest @chrislhayes as I think the banter would be fun; however, if you were to bring in a celebrity please consider @Lesdoggg or @RealMattDamon (I love the Weezer SNL sketch, sue me). Or @iamjohnoliver

In any event, Steve needs someone who is plugged into the Big Board on a computer. Someone who can pull up the relevant pages, and push them to the Board, can refresh the data, and basically run the Board while Steve explains what the heck the latest number means.

Third, give Steve a buzzer. Rather than make him jump up & down to catch @BWilliams eye, make it flashy: Flashing lights, sirens, a confetti gun, fire balls!

I may add to this thread as other ideas occur, but if nothing else, I hope that we can all join together and with @SteveKornacki a safe & sane time in the coming weeks, & implore @MSNBC to do everything in their power to #SaveSteveKornacki
