If you genuinely love that person you'll try to support them and not "fix" them as if they're just a broken toy you can play with after.
Don't misunderstand me, there's nothing wrong with trying to show that person love and affection but some struggles take a TON of TIME to heal and sometimes it might never go away and the person just has to live with it.
