Last yr on this date I lost a good friend of mine- due Suicide man shit is hard not seeing someone grow up with; experienced our ups and downs, ate together, laughed, cried! I don’t know why I’m sharing this here, but all I have to say is that so many of us suffering in silence.
The least we can do is be kind to others; empathy goes a long way; humanity goes a long way. Please!

In this mortal world, we have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears & sweat.
Tears come from the heart & not from the brain. Some of the greatest role models & manifestations of truth & manhood in life, like Jesus or Muhammed, cried. They cried, & they were the most real of men!
I share this because this does something much more profound than simply provide relief for a time.

*Manliness* is defined and measured literally, relative to our ability to 'control' our emotions.
Yet this process is so devastating to us internally, for our well-being and those around us. So much of the violence men partake in is a direct consequence of this suppression.
