My grandmother is 75. She hasn't missed an election since she first got her card in 1974.

Today she went to early vote and they could not find her name.

They purged her, an active voter in every election (primaries, locals, specials not one).

What can she do to fix this?
I am seriously looking for an answer. Is there an appeal process or what?

Yes, she is going to follow up with the state tomorrow.

But is there something that can be done now. Indiana will drag this out

If my grandmother has to miss this election....😭😭😭
So my awesome friends helped me find grandma as active and registered on June 30❀We can't use that list as proof. Her info is completely gone now, wiped between 6/30 and 10/28. She is going back tomorrow to vote with a provisional ballot.

How do we ensure her vote counts?
Thanks everyone for the help overnight.

I knew voter suppression happened, but the feeling that comes after seeing it happen to someone close to you? I have no words.

And my grandmother is mostly pissed.

They picked the wrong vote to suppress.

Update!!!

Grandma voted...and in her Obama 2008 sweatshirt!

She sent hours at the polling place yesterday, on the phone. My aunts and I checked the online registration. SHE WAS NOT THERE.

Plot Twist!!!

She showed up today with 3 witnesses, all the info you all and others helped gather, ID, and proof of residence...

They found her name in the system...

This is some Twilight Zone sh*t people.
What if she had waited until election day?
What if she didn't fight back?
