Try to speak regularly at conferences, meet-ups, collab YouTube channels or perhaps your own channel on Youtube. Speaking to an audience has a ton of benefits in my opinion.

1. It takes away your fear/over consciousness of standing in public. This is a big one for a lot of us. We are far too conscious of being on stage sometimes that we mess up our talk or just thoroughly embarrass overselves. It& #39;s fine. We are entitled to a few failures in public.
2. It reduces our anxiety of being accepted by everyone over time. When we start speaking for the first few times, we give far too much importance to be applauded by everyone, which is just impossible. As we speak more, we learn to tone our expectations to be more reasonable.
Personally, I only look to give the best talk I possibly can and ensure the talk relates to the majority of the audience in one way or another. Beyond that, I don& #39;t think about whether everyone loved it. I just try to see if I would have loved it if I were in the audience.
3. Our confidence swells. One of the biggest confidence boosters is having a small audience who are waiting for you to speak. It can be a channel with only 20 subscribers but it is a very satisfying achievement to have and it tells us that "Yes! Even I can make good content".
4. Huge impact on mental health. Our talks help us get away from the heavy grind of work and is often something we look forward to a lot. It increases positive thinking in various forms.
- "Which topic will my subscribers like?"
- "What is the best way to talk about this topic?"
- "How can unwrap this topic in such a way that a 12 year old can understand?"

Positive questions like these, that we ask ourselves have a strong impact on our thought process.
5. Speaking more also elevates our profile when we are searching for jobs. It helps us land better job opportunities and make bigger impacts as we grow our careers.

Public speaking is amazing! I hope you will consider it too!
Please speak at our meetup @fullstack_earth.

We would love to have you. Giving opportunities and visibility to first time speakers is our biggest kick!
