Thread of good MARATHI films because you all are really sleeping on Marathi films and they're damn good.
For obvious reasons, I'm not adding Sairat because that's not the only good Marathi film there is.

Ashi Hi Banwa Banwa-
How could I NOT start with this. The classic. Four bachelors live in a house in disguise with an old lady after she sets a condition that she allows only married couples to live. Hilarity ensues.

Natrang- A villager is obsessed with the art form of Tamasha (Lawni) and sacrifices everything for this art.
Atul Kulkarni is brilliant in this.

Harischandrachi Factory-I love this movie so so much.
A story of how Dadasaheb Phalke, the father of Indian cinema brings together a team of technicians to produce India's first feature film.

Katyar Kaljat Ghusli - A musical feud spanning a very long time.
Brilliant brilliant acting by the entire cast, and the soundtrack is a treat. (OFC IT'S A FILM BASED ON MUSIC)

Duniyadari--Classic college romance and rivalry. Based in the 1970s. I tend to cry towards the end.

Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai- The eternal fight between Mumbai and Pune 's residents on which city is better!
A boy from Pune is scheduled to meet a girl from Mumbai for marriage. Love how the story progresses.

Navra Mazha Navsacha- an unfulfilled vow to a God causes trouble in a couple' s marriage so they set on a bus ride to the shrine to fulfil that vow. This movie is a laughter dose throughout.

Shwas - This movie is so heartbreaking. It's a story of how a very young boy suffering from retinoblastoma has to get surgery done, which will permanently lead to him losing his eyesight and how his grandfather tries to cope up with the same.

Ek daav dhobi pacchad- So so funny. It's a story of a goon who is determined to become a good person again, and the funny things that happen as a result are just too good.

Kay dyayche bola- A story of two friends wrongfully convicted of murder and how a lawyer uncle (who's not actually a lawyer) steps in to try and free them of all charges.

Zhapatlela- If you like the creeps, this film is for you. It's a story of a very creepy possessed doll called 'Tatya Vinchu'.

Fandry- Sairat and Fandry are directed by the same person. The topic of the plot is very similar to Sairat, it's how a lower caste person falls in love with an upper caste person. Beautiful and heart-wrenching.

Court- A movie on the legal system of India. Again, I haven't watched this one but it was India's official entry to the Oscars in 2015 and I've heard it's really really good.
