I have issues with electoral politics in general but lately I just can’t get over ppl with a platform and their milquetoast “Vote!!” posts devoid of any kind of endorsement.

I’m talking about “influencers” (however you define this) posting their lil stickers begging their followers to vote but not wanting to alienate anyone

It’s honestly as brilliant as it is fucked up, this empty gesture we can all shill out under the guise of democracy and geniality. and so many people seem to just buy into it! that endorsing voting in general is good enough, instead of endorsing specific candidates.
