There's nothing we want more than Trump gone, but we can't let our guard down yet. The GOP has crippled democracy and destroyed lives in the last 4 years, and we're only beginning to understand the damage - especially when it comes to the still-happening family separation crisis.

The White House instated the zero tolerance policy, which initiated family separation. But after outrage, Trump ended it and a court ordered the administration to reunite the families. However, it was a task even more impossible than reuniting Stephen Miller's hair with his head.

Even after the zero tolerance policy ended, more than 1,000 families were still separated at the border for reasons including traffic violations, theft, and questionable allegations of gang affiliation--which is unfair, because those are basic qualifications to be president now.
