Suggested books for reading for Muslims and non-Muslims alike; to understand more about who is prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

Revive Your Heart is written by Nouman Ali Khan - a collection of essays on current issues/dilemma of a Muslim; & he had touched on the issue of #CharlieHebdo

I read books on other religions & cultures to seek better understanding & so that I am more sensitive and open in my communications with others. I don’t see why we can’t be educated on each others’ religions. It does not shake your own faith when you read about others’ beliefs.

I don’t see a reason of why non-Muslims can’t read on our prophet (pbuh) in order to understand why it’s so sensitive for Muslims when others mock him.

Although the prophet’s honour won’t be tarnished by words/cartoons/actions; but he is our beloved. Our hearts can’t bear it.

Hatred, mockery and calls for violence are creating endless clashes and open the gates of dissent and extremism on both ends.

Our is big enough for all of us.
