hope i live long enough to see a cut of this with no voiceover
i don’t have any siblings and yet the way collette goes from wanting to bash cam’s head in with her brick of a cell phone to head over heels smitten in love with her when she drags their new stepmom’s botox has me like, yup, that’s what we sisters do!!!
actually I have to step-sisters but that’s neither here nor there and hasn’t actually been confirmed. but, whatever. the point is: this is a great movie.
brooke smith is to this movie as frances mcdormand is to something’s gotta give. and i just think that’s great.
two* step-sisters. it’s important i correct my syntax, grammar, facts, etc. so i feel better about not knowing whether it’s zero or fifteen aforementioned step-sisters.
also now that i’m thinking about it might be half-sisters, not step-sisters. i’ll have to circle back. i’m unfamiliar as i have none and therefore have no experience in this arena. related: the my “marsha” scene should be in drama school curriculum. is it? i don’t know!
there is nothing scarier this halloween than the way sydelle looks at maggie whilst evicting her. except this administration + pandemic + election. and every tweet i sent after the first one in this thread. that, too. oh! actually there is. it’s the car tow follow-up scene.
