I’ve been a regular customer of @HomeDepot over the years- appliances mostly, but home repairs and building supplies too. That has come to an end after receiving TERRIBLE customer service today. The 3rd-party delivery company messed up their own guidelines on the delivery time.
When I contacted Somersworth NH @HomeDepot directly to get resolution, I got none. In fact, Jimmy, the manager on duty, actually hung up on me. So, now my $800 purchase won’t be delivered until at least next week. I called another appliance store and I’d have to wait for 2 weeks.
(Did you know there’s a national appliance shortage?) So Twitter, should I cancel my order from @HomeDepot ? Should I request a partial refund for my inconvenience or for rude manager Jimmy? Should I continue to Tweet about how crappy @HomeDepot treats it’s customers?
Maybe I should wait to see if @HomeDepot corporate does anything to make this right. I’m not a big Twitter presence but I hope my few followers will amplify this thread for me!
