You know why cons aren’t making an earnest effort to address and ban extremists/those that threaten violence against innocents? Because the communities they depend on to succeed aren’t making it a priority for them to do so.

Cons can ban whomever they determine doesn’t jive with their mission statement. They don’t actively target racists, extremists and bigots because it is more annoying TO organize ban lists than not. We need to change that.

When there are already cons making statements to look out for the safety of their attendees, why is there any expectation that older/bigger organizations cannot start doing the same? ESPECIALLY during this time when there are no cons.
