@tuckercarlson and @jdvance1 hate the idea of a #truthcommission, but they oscillate wildly as to why: is it a totalitarian Orwellian device to define the boundaries of reality? Or just a whiney panel to complain for imaginary offenses?

A #truthcommission doesn't replace the "official truth" of a fallen regime with a new one.
There will always be liars, but it's tougher for them to say "I didn't know".
