So what COULD a "Twin Suns" FACPOV entail? I'm sure you've all been asking yourselves that question for the last four hours.

Well, I managed to make a list of 28 distinct POVs, and can acknowledge 6 categories of characters that provide wiggle room for the last 12. https://twitter.com/aDillonDev/status/1321491795222630401
By FACPOV rules: There cannot be a story from Ezra's or Maul's POV. "Twin Suns" is already their story.

By FACPOV precedent: What counts as a POV is not limited to sentient species or even to life forms. Dead non-Jedis also count (see "Beru Whitesun Lars.")
By my own rules: Distinct POVs are POVs that I can clearly identify as being at least one of the following...
1) present, named, or inferred in the actual episode or behind the scenes material
OR
2) have a canon reason to be aware of and invested in the events
OR
3) have a distinct, related, and defined story.
The third point is where the Wiggle Categories come into play. I can't just say "insert a Jawa story here" because Jawas are on Tatooine. No, if I am to list a Jawa story among the distinct POVs, it's because I already have a story in mind.
Wiggle Categories that could fill out the remaining 12 POVs:
1) Jawas
2) Tusken Raiders
3) Rebels
4) non-native Tatooine inhabitants
5) Characters who might have tangential knowledge of the situation, but maybe not an active investment (think Yoda sensing it in the Force)
6) Chopper and Obi-Wan. These two get their own Wiggle Category because arguments could be made both ways on whether or not they are disqualified from this the same way Ezra and Maul are.
Rules established, let's talk about the 28 distinct POVs, ordering them by where they connect to the episode.

Might take a while to update between each one if I end up providing links or pics or whatever because what is me talking about "Twin Suns" without scope creep, eh?
1) Gloamer, owner of Dannar's Claim

A carry-over from the Legends Kenobi novel into Disney canon. We don't see Obi-Wan ever owning a dewback, but he was a friend of the Claim, where he could have rented a dewback once he sensed Maul's presence on Tatooine.
2) Moota Engatoo

A local merchant from an earlier draft of the episode, who would have seen Maul and given Ezra directions on where to find him. Though Ezra no longer has contact with Moota, they still could have seen or even interacted with Maul after he first landed.
3) Skybrothers

I am milking the Kenobi novel for all its worth here, btw.

The Tuskens see the two suns as mythical characters, and Maul's relentless pursuit of Obi-Wan matches that myth. The skybrothers could reflect on their their story playing out below with these mortals.
4) Savage Opress

Early drafts of the episode had Maul haunted by two specters as he scoured Tatooine for Obi-Wan. One of them was Savage, who even had concept art developed at one point.
5) Satine Kryze

She was the other specter who haunted Maul in early drafts. Her perspective could also switch between Maul and Obi-Wan leading him on, as she watches them both travel across the wastes.
FRICK WAIT.
There are SEVEN Wiggle Categories.

I forgot until this moment: there are several instances in "Twin Suns" where you hear noises of local wildlife on Tatooine.

7th Wiggle Category is local wildlife.

Okay, back to the distinct POVs. Lets head to Atollon.
6) Commander Sato

While his respect for Ezra was established in Season 2, and Ezra helped rescue his nephew in Season 3, there's probably still a lot of doubts he has about this young lieutenant, especially with him getting so reckless about old Force users.
7) Rex

THERE IS A LOT TO MILK HERE NOW THAT WE KNOW WHAT SIEGE OF MANDALORE ENTAILS OKAY

Rex is gonna have EMOTIONS and THOUGHTS both about Maul and about another potential survivor of Order 66.
8) Bail Organa

He would probably have some feelings about having to continually lie and report Obi-Wan as dead, like he did in the Ahsoka novel. Might spend some time thinking about all the people he lied to about this (including a certain Besalisk)
9) AP-5

There's a deleted scene of Ezra trading around chores in order to get the job of delivering AP-5's supplies to the flight desk so that he can steal an A-Wing. Could give an insight into how Ezra's rash actions, even made with the best intentions, affect every Rebel.
10) Flight Deck Officer

"I know it's his Thing, but could Lt. Commander Bridger maybe have stolen an A-Wing on someone else's shift? General Syndulla's going to kill me."
11. A-Wing computer

I know we're not looking at an L3 situation here, but there's still potential in having the flight logs as a story about the journey to Tatooine.
12) Zeb

Another deleted scene was the Ghost crew realizing Ezra was gone and discussing whether or not they should go after him.
13) Kanan

Early drafts of the episode was Kanan actually going with Ezra. In the same or similar scene to Zeb's story, this would be Kanan reflecting on what could have been if he had gone with Ezra or went after him now.
15) Tusken Raider

Now this avoids being a Wiggle Category, because it would specifically be a story about one of the Tuskens that Maul lures into an encounter with Ezra, possibly a young Tusken trying to prove themselves.
16) A'YARK

I told you I would be milking the Kenobi novel BUT ALSO A'YARK IS CANON AGAIN AS OF THE FIRST FACPOV, where this Tusken tries to warn off other hunters from a ill-conceived attack. ...A'Yark has to do this a lot...
17) A Jawa

Again, avoiding the Wiggle Category because this is a Jawa who noticed Chopper with Ezra and was waiting for a moment to nab him. In fact, if Chopper HAD gone the along the ridge instead of following Ezra, he would have found himself along a sandcrawler trail
(so that image is admittedly Legends, but I have definitely mapped out the events of "Twin Suns" on it.

Also, I definitely would have slipped a reference to Jat the Jawa from the first FACPOV in here)
18. Sith Holocron

Not only have I already argued for the Jedi Holocron having a personality, Rebels literally gives the Sith Holocron a personality. This would be a way to both see Ezra and Maul as the latter leads the boy in circles.
19. Tatooine

Am I reaching here? Am I really reaching, trying to get to the 28/40? I dunno. The planet itself has seen a LOT throughout Star Wars and the writers of "Twin Suns" mentioned that they wanted the stories of Tatooine to feel connected.
20) Dewback

Not only could this give us some time with Obi-Wan, Ezra also connects with animals very VERY well. This is something that the dewback could sense and connect to. Through the dewback, we might be able to understand what emotions Ezra has after he leaves the duel.
21) Moons

This is admittedly the biggest stretch out of all my proposed POVs, but if the suns are mythical beings, if we get Tatooine's perspective, maybe there's mythical significance to the moons.

And the moons over Obi cradling Maul is an emblematic shot in the episode.
22) Qui-Gon

We know he's been communing with Obi-Wan for almost two decades. You think he's NOT going to be invested in seeing this happen?

Plus it would be a great perspective to see Maul's funeral pyre and to see Maul pass into the Force.
23) Sheev Palpatine

Obviously he can't know about Obi-Wan, and probably would have very little details about it. but I would think he'd feel the passing of his first apprentice. And there are so many different thoughts and feelings I have about what I'd want this story to be.
24) Gauntlet computer

Again, this is something I already covered a bit with the A-wing, but in addition to the journey back to Atollon, we could have scenes of Chopper arguing with the computer if it tries to lock them out of using it.
25) Hera

There were many times that Hera had to prep herself to say good-bye to Ezra. This time, she feared it would be permanent.
26) Owen

Of course Kenobi put Luke in danger just by his presence, and of COURSE this danger was called goddamn "MAUL."
27) Beru

Something had felt off about the stranger she had seen a few days back when she had gone to one of the nearby Mos towns. She didn't want Luke staying out too late or going out to early.
28) Luke

Something had happened that night. Luke couldn't sleep and he couldn't place it, but for a moment, it actually felt like Tatooine was a place where destinies were decided. And in the morning, he had felt hope.
