1/4) Pierre Trudeau (Justin's dad) introduced the National Energy Program 40 years ago today. What followed was an absolute disaster for Albertans. Tens of thousands lost their jobs, families were forced to walk away from their homes giving the keys over to the bank.
2/4) The effects of this misguided policy lasted for a decade and the best that former Minister of Finance Lalonde can muster is "get over it already" and elect more Liberals.

Here's why Albertans aren't over it Mr. Lalonde.
3/4) Our parents and grandparents suffered through those times, and our current PM seems bound and determined to send us back there. Bills C-48 and C-69 have shown Albertans that they have a federal gov't that is actively working against them once again.
4/4) I honestly don't see those same Albertans electing Liberals...
