what's happening in brazil; an important thread

hi everyone! so here's the thing: we all know evety country is going through a rough time rn because of the pandemic right

but brazil has 15% of the GLOBAL deaths

many people died and we all know many more will die. but we have been avoiding a total collapse, due to our universal health care.

sus, as we call it, is responsible for almost every single life that was safe and literally EVERY BRAZILIAN NEEDS IT

and now, our president jair bolsonaro is trying to end it, and he wants to CHARGE for HEALTH CARE

this can't happen. without sus, the country will sink in caos.

ik there isn't much you guys can do, but if you could sing the petitions, we would really appreciate that!!!!

there's also groups planning to do protests this weekend, so please help to spread it, and maybe your brazilian mutuals can know about it and participate
