Any examples out there of human-centered design changing the organization that commissioned it (not just changing the products or services it provides)?
To clarify: I’m looking for evidence to test a hypothesis that the bulk of HCD takes the org / business as a given, as well as its right / responsibility / ability to intervene in people’s lives and the related right to extract rent (whether financial or other)
Changing ways of working, yes, but how about changing ways of being?

“Good” product / service designers will optimize for the system they’re designing in, even if the larger system is destructive, exploitative, toxic at a larger scale.
