I’m hoping that Trump is making all of this noise about wanting the election to be settled by midnight, November 3, because he knows he’s probably a goner and wants it to be over quickly.
I’m looking at these rallies Trump is doing and they seem like they have a different vibe than 2016. They aren’t focused. They aren’t as frighteningly angry. It’s more like he’s doing one last tour of the old territory and getting as much adulation as he can. They are pathetic.
Obviously this is an unpredictable, unstable man and I could see him deliberately putting the country through hell and continuing to trash the place on the way out. But remember, this guy is a quitter. He lets other people fight for him. He has no stamina.
Who the hell knows — I’m just looking at this thing from the POV of somebody who has been in therapy for 14 years & done a ton of reading about psychology to keep up with my therapist. I don’t look at Trump and see a guy who is willing to go down with the ship. It doesn’t track.
