justin turner has been volunteering in his community throughout this crisis and living outside fo the bubble for the entire season. he didn't have a single positive COVID test until he was nestled in the MLB's bubble. they want to use him as a scapegoat and it's bullshit.
it's their fault he tested positive within their "bubble". it's their fault that the game was played when there was an "inconclusive" test. it's their fault that the testing was apparently not keeping up with the series.
is it a bad look that turner went out and there, especially that he took his mask off? of course. it sucks. but he had been in close contact with every single one of those people for the entire post season. the damage is done - let him have his fucking moment.
make no mistake: if more people test positive, it's not because turner went onto the field for team pictures. it's because the of MLB's negligence. it's because of their weak "bubble" and their half-assed protocols this entire season. put the blame where it belongs.
