10. Wither

Simply beautiful and one of Frank’s best songs vocally imo. I can’t explain why I love this song but it’s amazing.

9. Nights

Probably Frank’s most iconic song next to Thinkin Bout You. An amazing nightlife vibe with a deeper meaning. The beat switch is also very iconic and its place on Blonde marks the 30 min mark. An amazing song in all.

8. Self Control

“Poolside convo”. Insert the waterworks. Self Control is one song that screams emotion as it is coupled with a single guitar. The outro can make a grown man cry. Simply amazing.

7. Bad Religion

This song about unrequited love speaks a lot to me and was at one point my favorite Frank song. The way Frank croons over this minimalistic instrumental is beautiful and carries so much emotion. It also has one of Frank’s easiest quotable lyrics imo.

6. Pink + White

This song is beautiful. From the melancholic, breezy, heavenly instrumental to the Beyonce vocals accompanying Frank in the outro, this song is dreamy. Great, simply, simply great and one of Frank’s best. Please listen to this song during the summer on a drive.

5. Higgs

Easily the best song off of Endless and OH MY GOD is this song fucking amazing. Frank’s vocals on this are brutally hard-hitting and meshes perfectly with the mood he was going for. If you never heard this, you’re missing out.

4. Pyramids

A two part story over 9 minutes with Frank painting a picture of the black woman constantly degraded. Frank’s storytelling here is immaculate and enjoyable to a huge degree. Easily the best song on Channel Orange.

3. Siegfried

“I’d rather live outside, I’d rather chip my pride than lose my mind out here”

The second best song on Blonde. Siegfried is another tear-inducing song on Blonde with a really good rapping verse by ours truly as well. “I’m not brave” rings close to home after 10pm.

2. Strawberry Swing

Frank samples Coldplay here and encompasses the entirety of his debut mixtape Nostalgia Ultra with this one song, bringing feelings of nostalgia and childhood. It is my favorite off of NU and befitting that it ranks number 2 on my list.

1. White Ferrari

My favorite Frank Ocean song of all time, and one of my favorite songs of all time in general. the song is heartbreaking and the use of the “white ferrari” speaks of a relationship with innocence and rarity. it has kanye too

And the outro... fucking amazing

White Ferrari also benefits off of being directly chosen by Frank’s brother Ryan. Frank had 50 versions of White Ferrari and the version we got on Blonde was chosen by Ryan.
