"The Jakarta Post announced that it would lay off two-thirds of its employees in a bid to reduce costs and ease financial hardship. However, as of yet, the plan remains unclear, leaving employees in a state of uncertainty that has affected their mental health and productivity." https://twitter.com/jakpost/status/1321406988174139392
We (already) will be saying a lot of goodbyes in the coming weeks. First, I have to accept the fact that I will not be able to exchange whinings with @hollycahya in the near future. The ritual we usually do when working on our articles 😢😢😢
And then @karinamt222, one of the brightest minds in The Jakarta Post's newsroom. The Post is losing big by letting her go.
There's also beb @ghinaghaliya. A gentle, cheerful journo who is very agile in executing every writing. Ghincess is warm and funny and talented and everything.
Last Sunday, we bid goodbye to @DevinaYo, a big reader with a big heart. Her commentaries are always on point and I aspire to write as blunt and honest as her. She's really good in writing fictions as well. Segala bisaaa.
@hollycahya will always have a special place in my heart and my journalism career. Asides from being teman sebangku during our training as cub reporters, she has helped me a lot in so many ways. Feature writing is her forte. Being able to emphatize makes her writing more solid.
Maaf akhir akhir ini ku suka tiba tiba sentimentil kalau mau tidur.
