Let me just say something.
First I want to thank the stylist for pointing out Irene's wrong attitude and taking the courage to ask for an apology . A lot of staff who work under popular or influential people are powerless towards this people and their company. https://twitter.com/SCMPNews/status/1321319570280513536

The staff are just normal people who have family and friends that did not choose to expose themselves that much to media. The stylist was aware of the sacrifice she'd make by posting a controversy about a popular idol. She was willing to take risks because she felt the injustice

The reason I want to thank her is because when she did this, my idol Irene became more aware of her attitude. I've read some posts from other people saying that her attitude behind the scenes and towards the staff was horrible and they feel bad for those who worked with her

I do not know what the truth is but I believe that people will always have a part of them that isn't exactly good. People can't always show their good side to others, imperfections exist and there are no right words to heal somebody whose been hurt, only time and forgiveness

Irene has posted an apology to the stylist afterwards, I'm not entirely sure if the stylist forgave her (I'll edit this later, pls tell me if Im wrong). But as always there are people who aren't forgiving and thought that Irene's apology wasn't enough for them.

There have been backlash and some people have said that Irene should leave the band.

Now this is where my opinion comes in. For me her apology which stated

"This incident has made me look back on the past. Ill think and act more carefully, so this does not happen again"

To me, those sentences was a chance for her to change.
Irene is an idol that has fame, power and influence. She has been the face of many products and have the support of a lot of people. As time passes the more fame you receive there will be moments you'd forget your true self

But because of the backlash, and comments I read about wanting her leaving the band made me astounded.
Chance?
Will there be no chance for her to change? Will she fall without giving her a chance?
Why are you people depriving her of an opportunity to become a better person?

I want to see change.

There are people who deserve a chance and those who have been given too much and truly did not change.

I believe Irene should be given this chance.

I want a lot of people to reflect on themselves and become more aware of their status and influence.

Idols, staff members, fans, and people who wields power and those who do not should always be more aware of themselves.

Less hurt to people should always be in our thoughts.
