Today I bring you Kirishima accidentally getting knocked up by Bakugou because they both failed to pay attention in sex Ed and Bakugou tells Kirishima he can’t have a baby because he has to focus on being number one.
Kirishima understands. He doesn’t get angry or resent Bakugou for it. But he tells him now he has a child to focus on, so he doesn’t have time to be with Bakugou anymore.

Literally overnight they go from the happiest couple planning to open a hero agency together. To nothing.
Bakugou sleeps alone in a bed he’s used to having someone sneak into every night.

(And doesn’t sleep.)
Life goes on and Bakugou watches Kirishima pull aside Aizawa alone. He knows Aizawa takes him to the principal to speak and Bakugou’s unnaturally sweaty all day because this is it, this is the last time he’ll see Kirishima and they haven’t even spoken-
The thought of Kirishima packing up and leaving plagues him all night. His ears are tuned to every bump and step around that room. He hasn’t had a good nights sleep in ages and it’s showing. In his performance and grades.

He’s slipping. Losing his touch.
He has withering dreams of Kirishima and his smile when he can shut his eyes.
There’s something that strikes his chest when he steps out the next morning and Kirishima’s door is wide open-

Like he’s gone.
He kind of freezes, a whirlwind of thoughts going through his head.

Kirishima, being the number one hero, a big, bright smile, hero hero hero, he won’t ever see him again, Kirishima’s gone-
He rounds the corner of the door frame in a frenzy only to find Kirishima still standing there, balcony doors open, airing out his room.

Kirishima turns, probably at the sound of footsteps, giving Bakugou a curious, guarded look.
He chokes a little mouth faster than his brain, “you’re here..!”

Kirishima just tilts his head in a ‘yeah, duh?’ “Uh, yeah. This is my room?”
“I saw you go with Aizawa. You told them about...”

He hesitate over the word ‘baby’.
Kirishima nods, looking Bakugou up and down strangely.

“Yeah. We had to discuss my modified hero courses. I can stay and study with the class. I just have to be pulled from a few more dangerous activities. They’re letting me use the gym, at least.”
Bakugou can breathe again. Kirishima is staying. Bakugou can breathe.
“I’m staying. If that’s all you wanted to know,” Kirishima says suddenly, “Sorry you still have to be around us.”

It takes Bakugou a minute to realize Kirishima’s ‘us’ means him and the baby.

(Their baby.)
“You should go to class.” He adds. When Bakugou does nothing but gape.

Bakugou takes a tentative step back, wishing he could fit something, anything on his flapping tongue.
He ends up remaining silent and shuffles off to class.

Kirishima shows up later after morning training. He doesn’t even glance in Bakugou’s direction, but he can’t stop staring.
It becomes a normal pattern.

Bakugou’s staring. Kirishima’s ignoring. The weird shuffle they do around each other anytime they come into contact.
Everybody hates him now. He knows it. He knows that even though Kirishima has said nothing, not cursed his name in the slightest-
Raccoon Eyes glares at him with pursed lips when he walks by.

Sparky turns his shoulder in his presence.

Soy Sauce remains solemn.

Even Deku’s pity stares makes his stomach twist inside.
But at the same times, he doesn’t really care. That he’s went from dealing with all of these people almost daily, to radio silence, intensifying the buzzing in his ear.
And they are the reason he hears about...that, growing in Kirishima.

How he first spies the bump of his stomach.

It’s been weeks. Weeks since his life has completely changed.
Kirishima had told him before that he already been 2 months, but he tried not to think about Kirishima as much as he could-

“Show us the belly! Come on, Mama!”
Something lodges deep in Bakugou’s throat. He doesn’t dare look back.

There’s the sound of rustling, the group of idiots cooing suddenly. Baku knows he shouldn’t look. He doesn’t need to. He put all of that behind him to be number one-
His eyes flicker, roaming furiously as soon as they’ve moved and caught sight.

It’s so little. Barely noticeable. Kirishima is bigger, stronger than most omegas. He’s wider, sturdy.
(It’s one of the things Katsuki lo- appreciated about him.)

But underneath his skin, pushing up his abs. There’s a bump. A definite bump.
Bakugou can’t swallow over the lump.

He looks up and looses all of his air when he’s suddenly staring into Kirishima’s eyes.
He doesn’t know what to think. Because for a few seconds he can’t breathe. He must deprive himself too long. He must have killed his brain cells.

Because turning back around, breaking their stare.
Bakugou could have sworn he’d seen pity in his eyes.

Another month goes by and Bakugou just floats through it. He gets a medication from Recovery Girl that helps him sleep finally.

(He refuses to go see the on campus therapist for all the stress RG thinks he’s under. He’s not, he’s just fucking tired.)
His grades improve and so does his in field fighting.

And then Kirishima collapses in the middle of class one afternoon.
