I want to say a few things about my book A Night in Halloween House because I’m sincerely overwhelmed by how supportive and positive everyone has been. 🎃🧡
Due to everything happening, there were several days where I considered not following through with my plan to publish. Needless to say, I’m glad I did (albeit a little later than I intended!).
Publishing this book was something I wanted to do for me, as a personal achievement, so I could hold it up and be proud.
But I didn't do it alone! James is consistently my rock and greatest support system; without his love and encouragement I would be zilch. I am endlessly thankful to have him in my life.
And life moments like this are a true testament to what great friends and family I have. The best. I’m really bad at talking about my work or amplifying myself, and they all go out of their way to lift me up.
Some of you have messaged me to tell me this has encouraged you to finally finish / start that project you’ve been wrestling with. I know you can! I’m rooting for you!
Give a follow to Adam McQuaig on Instagram adam_mcquaig_art. He designed the cover and was a pleasure and pro to work with.
Thank you, THANK YOU, for your spirited support and encouragement. This is a memorable and happy Halloween because of so many wonderful people, very likely you included. Thank you 🧡🎃
Also, I realize how awkward this photo of me holding the book is. But IT'S ME, and it's fitting, and I wouldn't retake it for the world.
