With the off-season now upon us (sigh)....thought I'd share some of my favorite pictures of the ballpark from this past summer, from those nights when the team was on the road, and we had the ballpark to ourselves....1/

I've always loved walking the upper deck...brings back memories of Tiger Stadium - and the only place I would ever sit...2/

....and yes, while you're farther away at Comerica, I really found I enjoyed the view from every seat, even the last seat in the last row....3/

My favorite pics are from one of the last nights, spending time with Willie, Ty, Hank, Charlie, Hal and Al at sunset, feeling their spirit in a ballpark whose beauty I was appreciating from a whole new perspective. 6/

I also had a renewed appreciation for the detail in each statue, how phenomenal each one is....7/

....I'm still hoping one day we'll see a ball land in Al's glove (there are spikes in it, just in case).....9/

....Willie. Just love how this statue captures his powerful swing - a swing that captured the imagination of a certain young Tigers fan starting in 1968....10/
