There's been a lot of talk about supporting indie bookstores through the pandemic. Obviously, the best way it to shop at one but if you're at the end of your budget here are 3 ways to support indie bookstores that cost you nothing...

2. When you talk about a book on social media, link to a specific bookstore, even if you're not an "influencer" or anything. All increases in traffic to a website increase sales, even if no one buys the specific book you're talking about.

3. Say to your friends & family something like, "Hey, if you don't know what to get me this year, instead of, like, one of those generic gift cards, I'd really appreciate if you canceled your Prime membership as your gift to me."
