Seriously Twitter, did you really just insert a “Joe Rogan” topic with a Donald Trump Jr tweet linking to a Washington Examiner post into my feed? What kind of hellish idea is this, pushing people into toxic disinfo networks as they are actively pushing election disinfo?

I don’t think I’ve ever been as angry at this site as I am right now. We just wrote a report about how people will be vulnerable to election disinfo during the uncertainty of the days ahead, and Twitter is PROMOTING the disinfo purveyors, pushing ppl into their networks. C’mon.

If you’re rolling a new recommendation feature, you clearly shouldn’t be testing it right now. These folks are actively working to sow confusion & doubt in the election results and your users will be vulnerable this next week. If your algorithm is promoting them, it doesn’t work.
