What's cool about this bridge is that it isn't just a simple permissionless 2-way bridge, it's a bridge between Binance Smart Chain and every chain already supported by RenVM, AND every future chain RenVM will integrate.

So this means you can directly deposit BTC, ETH, ERC-20s, ZEC, and BCH to Binance Smart Chain, e.g. for trading and yield farming. It also means you will be able to for instance deposit Filecoin as soon as this chain is integrated into RenVM ( #soon).

This is what sets the Ren project's cross-chain solution apart from other cross-chain solutions. RenVM will be a decentralized bridging network that continually grows its network effect by automatically integrating a new chain with all the other already integrated chains.

It does not need to build separate 2-way bridges for every possible permutation. So even if a competing bridge between two chains tries to compete by offering lower fees, RenVM will be the only bridge which lets you move your assets anywhere at once, without intermediary steps.

So the liquidity that is siloed in different chains is beginning to break down. While Ethereum is working on scaling, you can move some of your operations over to BSC without losing access to all the liquidity ETH has. And now you can build yield aggregation across ETH and BSC.

And when RenVM offers native smart contract deployment in the future, you can transform your assets into meta-liquid assets, i.e. assets that are liquid on multiple chains at once.
