I keep seeing a lot HOT TAKES about this avatar AI thing but like... this is simply the next step in what was already an insanely slippery slope regarding celebrity access. Yall created this space by frequently acting like rabid animals about updates, social media, etc.

I'm seeing a lot of finger pointing, but not enough holding fan culture itself accountable for its role that created the demand for such a thing. Think about how crazy some of yall are about needing to know every little detail of your faves lives to the point of

cloutrage tweeting every day about someone's comeback not having enough "p*omo" as if it exists in some vacuum that does not involve even more invasion into the life of your favorite idol.

On that note, it's also MORE WORK, which yall never seem to care about how much work your fave is doing and how that can take its toll until they are passing out from exhaustion.

this is not to say people aren't allowed to think the AI concept is weird and problematic. I'm just not seeing enough demonization of fans themselves on top of the outrage at SM
