people who don’t like mika clearly don’t understand why he is the way he is.

1) to get facts straight, mika was abandoned by his parents IN THE MIDDLE OF A FUCKING ROAD and then saw them get into a car crash and die.

2) mika has blamed himself for the deaths of his family at the orphanage his entire life after what happened in episode one.

3) mika was turned into a vampire without wanting to at the age of 12. he also wanted to die instead of living when krul gave him the “choice”.

3) HES OVERPROTECTIVE OF YUU FOR OBVIOUS REASONS. the humans are fucked up and ofc he wants to protect him from them. HE WAS LITERALLY USED AS A WAR WEAPON BC OF HUMANS.

let’s also not forget that mika DIES and becomes a fucking top ranked demon bc he wanted to protect yuu. in conclusion, he deserves better and it’s very VERY clear why he acts the way he does.
