Some interesting #socialcare polling from @EngageBritain. A few highlights on the theme of state/personal responsibility: 1) #Carers are more like to see caring for parents as a personal, rather than state, responsibility.
4) The polling also covers lots of other issues, though - as with other polling on #socialcare - they suffer a little from trying to explore a very complex system with simple & #39;yes/no/don& #39;t know& #39; questions. You can explore all findings here. https://engagebritain.org/digging-into-the-numbers/">https://engagebritain.org/digging-i...
5. A take-out? If talking about a & #39;cross-party& #39; solution to #socialcare, we need to accept there are genuine differences in opinion to reconcile. (Not impossible: our work with @IpsosMORI found most people think the state should bear most responsibility.) https://www.ipsos.com/ipsos-mori/en-uk/understanding-public-attitudes-social-care-funding-reform-england">https://www.ipsos.com/ipsos-mor...
