Just got wind that some friends of mine planning a plague rave in London

I'd be a hypocrite to be calling out the techhouse bros, but not my underground mates

Though I'll probably (almost definitely) damage friendships if I do

No intention of being a grass & tagging the police etc. I know there's dozens of small illegal parties happening every weekend

But honestly. They're not kids. They should fucking know better. It's selfish and stupid.

This is crew I regard as contemporaries. I've been to their parties. They've been to mine.

Please don't do it. You know who you are. It's not worth it. If I heard about it up here in Glasgow (via gossip, not your mailing list) it means that others know. Don't risk a 10k fine.

Glad to report one act were put on a flyer without being asked, they are categorically not playing and have no intention of doing an illegal show.

Jury is out on the others still.

I'm now told the event will not go ahead.
