After 2 weeks of multiple health screens — okay let’s go. The Pacific is once again being used as an escape whilst ignoring the fact the natives are suffering from the virus on the Island and rich white folks get to go back and forth on their land

Like imagine seeing rich white folks inviting themselves to your island during a pandemic, knowing full and well that the Pacific are trying their best to keep COVID out.

You see this with Hawaii too. Tourists don’t care

They literally come in to escape and then end up having the virus themselves.

You know how many people died in the Pacific? You know how many families mourned? You know how we have continued to survive during this pandemic? Do you even know how to pronounce the name of the land you are on/want to be on?

You don’t. Stay away from our Islands.

Do you know how many people lost their jobs? How many people couldn’t attend funerals of their loved ones? How many people couldn’t even carry out cultural protocols of the dead because of COVID? You know what it’s like to bury your loved ones properly?

Y’all make me sick. I’ve watched so many families mourn on here. Mourn for the dead. Mourn for not being able to put them at rest. Mourn for not doing it their way.
