You see I think it's a common practice for like anybody not radically nationalistic (unlike some people) to take massive interest in other countries while being all

Don't get me wrong, that's a really effective tactic and I don't mind it staying. What I'm trying to say is if you were a Philippine tourism agent, would you advertise all of the poverty and corruption in the country in your next travel blog?
It's really all a matter of attracting tourists and intl. business partners from other countries in this age of globalization that matters in the global market (correct me). So you have to make your own country look sexy and attractive to other foreign investors.
So why don't we Filipinos (I assume) like our country? Well that's simply because we are the ones experiencing firsthand the bad things in our country that are being left out in the tourism industry.
