Philadelphia has been on a reformist path for several years, seeing a big decline in prison populations and police shootings. It has been on this trajectory for a while, moving in the direction reformers want especially under DA Krasner.

Telling people things are the worst ever and no progress is being made is misinforming them, and perhaps inciting them to worse than just being misinformed.

People act out in radical ways (at least the true believers as opposed to the opportunists) when they think there's no progress being made or there's no alternative. Why is no one in media reporting these things responsibly these days?
