if you jumped over an inferential gap from "downthread" to "internet access" then we can hold everyone who didn't in suspense

but that means i still owe you a cliffhanger, so is it possible to come up with one that only applies to anyone who did jump over these inferential gaps?

at some point i'm going to go to sleep and there will be a significant delay in adding to this thread. but i may also be distracted by something else while still awake
