Sometimes it scares me how Lee SooMan came up with ideas. Yes, it's very innovative, it's always new, it's the culture of South Korea but can you imagine how bold his ambitions are?
Let's not set aside the fact how competitive SM Entertainment ever since it was build, from the moment when H.O.T. and S.E.S. debuted up until to NCT and AESPA today.
You can even say that he's the epitome of the KPop genre on how he started the Hallyu Wave to Girls' Generation and Super Junior being the standard, debuting SHINee and F(x) to give us experimental music, here's EXO with their own unique and modern style—
which, by the way, became an inspiration to many concepts today—then Red Velvet with diverse and unconventional discography, literally making their own genres and now we have the SM Culture Universe that breaks the tradition and surpass the norms;
NCT with, let's say, unlimited members so the group can represent their various culture, forming a group from existing bands that resulted to SuperM and AESPA who will step up the game to use the modern technology to interact with fans through their music.
Yes, their plans with SMCU, most of all NCT and AESPA, are unthinkable but who knows? You can say that SM is such a formidable company, changing the way we listen to music, but we can never deny the fact that they never fail—they always succeed.
