Bears fans were bragging about their team being the #1 seed in the NFC 36 hours ago, and now want to fire/trade everybody and start over.

It's one game. Relax.

Yes, the game was incredibly ugly. Yes, the Bears have serious problems on offense that aren't going away. Yes, the Bears are 5-2 and likely headed for the playoffs.

All of these things can be simultaneously true.

There's a tendency to label everything in sports as either the best or trash, when the reality is that 99.9% of athletes and teams exist somewhere in the middle.

The Bears are a good team. They are not a great one. Their playing style leaves very little margin for error

PLEASE stop swinging wildly from "Super Bears, Super Bowl!" to "Fire everybody" depending on how the latest game went. It's exhausting and unhealthy.
