feeling mad over the games industry tonight. anyway i think it& #39;s astoundingly fucked that i thought that everyone had 10+ hour work days until i was like 12 because my (game animator) dad almost never got home until like 7:30 pm when his work was 30 mins away

like genuinely i don& #39;t want to get too overshare-y on this thread but i think that crunch expectations contributed heavily to a Lot of the issues my family faced. this shit is taxing beyond just the devs themselves

like..... yeah working on video games can be a dream job but it& #39;s still a fucking job. join a union
