CW: Age Gap, Fluff, Light Angst

Katsuki is an artist. He's been painting since he was 4 years old. He was deemed a child prodigy by many people for his skills in being able paint photo realistic art, specifically of Pro Heroes.

"It's a shame that you're Quirkless."
The old man laughed to himself as he viewed his commission that took Katsuki two months to complete. "You could probably get more clients."

"Maybe." He grunted, wanting this conversation to be over. He's been told this bullshit over and over since he started selling his art.
What does him having a Quirk or not have anything to do with his paintings?

"Most people tend not to go to the Quirkless for anything." He sighed. "Consider 'em less talented. Which is a shame. You're a damn good artist."

"Thanks." He had to bite his tongue.
For some reason, people tend to think Quirkless artist = starving artist, which was further from the truth. As he tuned out the old man's rambles, he noticed the time. Shit! He needed to leave before he missed him. "Are you good with the painting? I sorta have to go."
"Oh yes of course! My apologies. Thank you again, Bakugou. Wonderful job."

Katsuki left the old man's house without another word, taking the train to his studio apartment. It was on the top floor of his building with canvases and plants of all sizes lying around.
"I gotta hurry." He said to himself, kicking his shoes aside as he hurried towards his balcony. A large canvas with a sheet covering it was resting on an easel, waiting for him. Katsuki gathered his oil paints and brushes as fast as could. As if on cue, he smiled when he heard
the sound of a special someone hopping from rooftop to rooftop before stopping on top of the building that was relatively close to Katsuki’s apartment.

"Deku..." Katsuki whispered to himself in awe, watching the colossal Hero stand tall as he watched the cityscape.
The #1 Hero always took his breaks on top of that very building at 3PM sharp for around 2 hours, giving Katsuki more than enough time to paint him. He's painted hundreds of Heroes over the years, but for some reason, Deku was the one he loved to paint the most.
He carefully pulled off the sheet of his WIP. A sunset piece with a close-up of Deku's profile. He’s been working on this piece for about a month and he was so close to completion.

"Just mix the right shade of green and add the freckles...fix his jawline." Katsuki muttered
to himself as he mixed his paints. He had to make sure his glances at the Hero were quick and unnoticed. He didn't want Deku to think he was some sort of creep or something.

He just...He just really liked painting him. Katsuki wasn't sure if it was due to his Quirk or his wild
green curls or freckles or his muscular frame, but it made him happy to have the honor of creating art of his favorite Hero.

"Done." Another piece completed and in 40 minutes, no less. He put the canvas aside dry as he grabbed another one. He saw Deku had sat down with his
legs crossed, eating a sandwich while he watched the clouds.

"I haven't drawn him eating yet.." Katsuki pulled his phone from his pocket to snap a few pics of Deku before mapping out the basic shapes of the painting with his brush.

He had look at the Hero to get a better view
of the sandwich, until his heart nearly stopped. Deku looked right at him with a corny smile. Katsuki stood there like an idiot, body frozen even as the Hero waved at him.

Deku stood up, finished his sandwich, then jumped off of the building to float towards Katsuki's balcony.
"Hello there." He greeted with a big, goofy grin as he balanced on top of the railing. His voice was deep and soft. Katsuki could feel his heart attempting to beat out of his chest. Holy shit. He swallowed the large lump in his throat as he tried to stay calm.

"H-Hey..."
"I couldn't help but notice that you're out here whenever I'm out here and I always see you painting." He pointed to the easel.

"You noticed me painting?" Why did that make Katsuki blush?

"Yeah!" Deku scratched the back of his neck. "For a few months, actually."
His eyes wandered to the canvas that was drying on the floor. "Is that me?"

"...Y-Yeah.." Katsuki admitted. His face burning from the embarrassment. "It's, uh, it's..."

"It looks amazing! Can I get a closer look? Please?"

"S-Sure." Like Katsuki would ever say no to him.
Deku jumped down from the railing and walked up to hold the painting. Katsuki knew Deku was a giant, but standing right next to him made him feel EXTRA small.

"Oh my god...it's like I'm looking at a photo!" Izuku gasped. "So cool! You really painted this?!"
"Mmhm..took a month."

"A month?! Woow, that's insane." Izuku's eyes sparkled as he looked around Katsuki’s balcony to see more of his finished works scattered about, but most of them were Deku either fighting villains or peacefully resting.
"I must be your favorite subject." He giggled. "Your work is beautiful."

"T-Thank you."

"You know, if you want. I can come here for lunch, so you have an easier time painting me!"

Katsuki nearly dropped his palette on the floor. Hero Deku coming over to HIS shitty apartment
to be his model. He must be dreaming.

"I don't care...just don't break anything when you come here."

"I'll land on the railing, I promise." He laughed some more. "What's your name?"

"Bakugou Katsuki."

"It's nice to meet you, Bakugou."

"Likewise...Deku."
Deku put the painting down, then hopped back on top of the railing, he looked back at Kacchan with a smile. "I'll be back tomorrow! I'll be the best model I can be!"

"Cool." Katsuki watched him jump down and float downtown. He clutched his chest, still shaking
from being NOTICED by a Pro Hero. His favorite Pro Hero that loved his artwork! It was absolutely unbelievable. "I need to buy more canvases..."
