i'm gonna be honest, i think some of y'all don't entirely understand what synastry is
synastry cannot tell you if a relationship will "work out," whatever that means. nor can it tell you how someone will treat you, whether you have the same values and priorities, whether you're on the same life path or at the same stage
in a sense, your synastry with another person is like a transit. they activate certain chart potentials in you, and you in them. synastry tells you some of how those natal potentials will play out
for instance, a person with jupiter on your MC might be the type to give you an important career opportunity. or maybe they're a supportive boss, or a mentor who helps you on your path
maybe a person with mars in your 7H is the best sex of your life. or maybe they're your rival, or your archnemesis (yes, mars in the 7H/aspecting L7 is peak enemies to lovers)
can synastry tell you compatibility? sort of. kind of. a little. but compatibility involves a whole lot more than the aspects between the two charts
synastry is useful for understanding what potentials another person activates for you. it can tell you, to an extent, the areas that are easy between two or more people and the areas that are more challenging
it can tell you what role a person might play, as a friend or lover or boss or enemy. but does it tell you how suited they are to that role? hardly
you can have excellent synastry with someone on paper, but you could have totally different goals. or maybe they're perfect on paper, but there's just no spark. maybe youve got everything, but they're too deep in their bullshit to show up
all of this to say, synastry doesn't make or break a relationship. the people involved do. and in some cases, outside forces intervene to keep people together or drive them apart
and my advice? focus on your own nativity first. by which i mean, worry about you and how people make you feel. who affirms you? who makes you feel worse? who challenges you in ways that help you grow? who's just challenging?
your experience of people is always, ALWAYS more important than what's on paper or what's in the chart. you know more than you think you do. trust yourself
